In 2000, Chip Altholz (family friend & mentor) suggested that I consider writing jingles. He set up a meeting for me at Catfish Music, a commercial music company in Chicago. They told me two things: 1) Get Protools & 2) Create some jingle samples. After I did both, they asked me to work on a national campaign for the Samsung Uproar - the first cell phone to have a built in mp3 player.
